Live music, comedy, and poetry, outdoors in Princeton, NJ! Café Improv is BACK! A hotspot for live music, comedy, and poetry, this 30-year Princeton tradition returns to the stage to kick off the first season of performances since shutdown in March 2020.  Enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment and a celebration of community during this outdoor event on Hinds Plaza, and learn more about the upcoming season to take place in the Arts Council’s Solley Theater.  For the past three decades, Café Improv has connected beginning and professional performers, remaining easily accessible to the public through affordable admission rates and televised broadcasts on Princeton Community Television. The Arts Council of Princeton, founded in 1967, is a non-profit organization with a mission of building community through the arts. Housed in the landmark Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, designed by architect Michael Graves, the ACP fulfills its mission by presenting a wide range of programs including exhibitions, performances, free community cultural events, and studio-based classes and workshops in the visual, performing and literary arts.
