reporting until today in Commack shows 4391 residents have contracted the virus,according to the Newsday tracker. However, for the past 7 days prior to July 5,2021, Bluepoint , East Northport, Fort Salonga, Centerport , Middle Island, Oakdale ,Great River , Port Jefferson Village, Riverhead, Terryville, Wheatly Heights and most of the East End of Long Island have had zero cases. Kings Park, Huntington, Greenlawn and Melville are listed with one case in their towns during the same time period . Smithtown is reporting 6 cases during the past seven days prior to July 5,2021. The Suffolk County Dept of Health is reporting as follows: 31 individuals were hospitalized, no change in 24 hours as of July 52 new admissions on July 5 and 9 new admissions on July 64 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), no change in 24 hours on July 51 fatality reported on July 5 by Suffolk County Dept. of Health 2 fatalities reported on July 3, 2021 as reported by Suffolk County Dept. of Health1 fatality reported on June 30, 2021
