Join us as we explore creative ways to cook budget friendly, healthy meals using simple appliances like toaster ovens, microwaves, etc. Are you headed off to live on your own soon? About to start college? Nervous about adulting? Are you already on your own but need some new inexpensive meal ideas? Let us help relieve some of your stress by teaching you creative ways to use common apartment appliances to concoct budget friendly, delicious meals. We will explore various methods of cooking including microwave magic, stove top sensations, revolutionary rice cooker meals, and much more! Learn how to eat well even when time and money are tight. We will make a variety of dishes, eat them, and talk about ways to shop and cook without breaking your budget. When: 5:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
