Friends of Wilmington Parks, Delaware State Parks Present "LIVE! IN THE PARKS: 2021 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES" FREE concerts will be held in Rockford Park and at Brandywine Park's Sugar Bowl each Monday and Wednesday, from June 14 to August 18 The Friends of Wilmington Parks, in Partnership with Delaware State Parks, presents "LIVE! IN THE PARKS: 2021 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES, June 14 – August 18, in Rockford and Brandywine Parks. The series kicks off at 6:30 p.m. this evening at Rockford Tower with singer/songwriter Nihkee Bleu. Bring family and friends – and pets! – along with picnic baskets and lawn chairs to our free Summer Concert Series in Rockford Park on Monday evenings and in Brandywine Park at the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday evenings, from now through August 18.  Shows run from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. and CDC guidelines will be enforced for everyone's safety. Social distancing is required, and attendees are required to have a mask to enter Rockford Park. Current COVID-19 guidelines permit only 250 people to gather, and guests that arrive late may be asked to return to their vehicles if capacity is reached. There will be no food trucks or concessions on site this year out of an abundance of caution.
