Description
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton University has said that North Station Drive, off of Alexander Road and the access loop in front of the Princeton Station will be closed Wednesday, July 7 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., due to the placement of a large crane.
The crane is needed to make repairs to the fountain in the Lewis Center for the Arts. The work will not impact the NJ Transit train schedule and Princeton Station's waiting room and platform will remain open during this time. NJ Transit buses will continue to operate, however, the bus stop near the Wawa entrance will be temporarily relocated to the nearby Princeton Station parking lot area.
There will be signs posted to direct passengers to the temporary stop. The Wawa will remain open for business during the road closure. The University's West Garage will also be open, but access to the garage will only be available from Faculty Road to Elm Drive.
Pedestrians and cyclists are urged to use caution in the area and follow posted signage and directions of the ground crew.
