Zareen’s Assistant General Manager: • $65,000 - $100,000/yr • Palo Alto, CA 94306 Zareen's is a Michelin Guide Restaurant looking for energetic professionals to grow with our company! Currently, we are searching for individuals to join us in the role of an Assistant General Manager at all three of our locations. We Offer: • Competitive pay + Bonus pay • Health insurance • Health savings account • Paid time off • Employee discount • Flexible schedule Responsibilities: • Supervise the restaurant including scheduling, enforcing service standards, and training and motivating associates • Visually inspect the restaurant and ensure it is clean and organized with all equipment in working order • Assign and inspect all restaurant associates side work daily • Regularly monitor product quality and plate presentation to ensure consistency of service standards • Ensure food items are prepared to guest specifications by interacting with guests, ascertaining satisfaction and assisting in resolving issues with the level of service or the food item requested • Regularly monitor inventory • Regularly assist the GM in conducting restaurant staff meetings to keep the staff informed, provide training, and create a positive work environment • Document and submit work orders to report items that need to be repaired and follow up with maintenance accordingly Qualifications: • Friendly and positive attitude • Excellent customer service • Excellent communication skills • Ability to make change • Basic math skills • Attention to detail • High school diploma or equivalent desired • Must have 2-3 years experience as a FOH Manager/Supervisor at a fast paced restaurant • Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs • Must be comfortable with using computers, MS Word, and email • Basic knowledge of Spanish, Urdu, or Punjabi language is desirable Join us and apply now by emailing with your name and resume!
