GLOUCESTER, MA — 44 people are safe thanks to the Coast Guard after a fishing boat caught fire in Gloucester Harbor Wednesday morning. The Gloucester Harbormaster said there was an engine fire aboard Yankee Patriot II, which is owned by Yankee Fleet Deep Sea Fishing in Gloucester. Reports of three fast-moving helicopters circled overhead after the safety call was radioed in. There is no word yet as to how the fire started, and there were no injuries.
