Arise + Shine is back with a special brunch featuring local drag queen artists, all in support of LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness. We’re back! And we can’t wait to see you again at Arise + Shine.Join us for a fabulous all ages drag brunch featuring the renowned Barb Barb and her talented friends. We’ll nosh on a full brunch spread (please arrive hungry!) and sip tasty beverages. It’s a perfect way to kick off your Sunday morning – and we’re just a half block from the Pride Festival in Loring Park. Why join us? Because there are over 2,500 homeless youth on any given night in the Twin Cities – and 40% of them identify as LGBTQ. In the past decade, Arise Project has raised over $1 million in vital grants to create LGBTQ-specific programs and support services. From support groups to text-to-help lines to host-home programs, Arise Project has changed how organizations in the Twin Cities respond to LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness. There's still more work to do and we need YOUR help to ensure these young people can thrive. Learn more about Arise Project here.
