Volunteer to sort collected items to "stuff the trunks" for first generation college students on July 24, limited spots available! Women United is hosting its first "Stuff The Trunk" to support first generation college students graduating from Shelby County Schools. This "Stuff The Trunk" initiative will provide much-needed college supplies for worthy beneficiaries who are first generation Shelby County residents as they prepare to embark on this new adventure. Join Women United and United Way of the Mid-South and help stuff their college trunks with bedding, school supplies, toiletries and other necessities! Volunteer to sort collected items to "stuff the trunks" for first generation college students on July 24, limited spots available! Women United is committed to helping low-income women and their families move out of poverty by advancing the local advocacy footprint around adult education, financial empowerment and domestic violence. *Please report to the United Way Plaza Community Room.
