NGB construction Inc is looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Coordinator to join our team. If you do not have any experience in the field, that is okay since we are willing to TRAIN the right candidate. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents. You will be required to drive to any NGB job-site and conduct inspections; and issue warnings if necessary. You will receive the following with NGB: Company car Company gas card Company cell phone Safety bonuses after three months of employment with NGB. The duties and responsibilities are as follows: Inspect NGB job-sites and write reports based on inspections. Issue warnings to those who are not following policies and programs. Plan and implement OHSA policies and programs. Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics. Attend bi-weekly meetings with foremen and supervisors. Review existing policies and procedures. Adhere to all the rules and regulations. Enforce preventative measures. Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.
