Seeking an experienced LPN or MA for outpatient medical practice in Princeton, NJ. Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, no nights or weekends!Job Duties:Assist physician with procedures; perform blood draws and obtain urine specimens and process specimens according to laboratory requirements; administer vaccinations and injections as approved; provide patient instructions per physician’s order; conduct authorized in-office testsPrepare patient for examination and treatment.Triage calls for urgent appointments, assist with referrals for patient consults and testing, perform insurance verification/pre-certification.Accurately and promptly set up examination rooms, materials and equipment. Proactively monitor required stock level per practice protocol and anticipate unique supply needs for patients/provider.Qualifications:Excellent customer service skills and ability to quickly build rapport with patientsPrevious experience in outpatient office or hospitalProficient in phlebotomy techniques and specimen handlingStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentDedication to a team approach to patient careKnowledge and experience with electronic health records and standard office applicationsFamiliarity with medical software and office equipmentActive, unrestricted LPN or MA license in the state of NJBLS certification
