Press release from the City of San Antonio: July 5, 2021 SAN ANTONIO – Animal Care Services is joining the BISSELL Pet Foundation for an adoption event filled with hope…and hounds! The philanthropic organization is sponsoring an Empty the Shelters event July 7th to July 11th at the San Antonio shelter with reduced adoption fees of just $25 for dogs and $5 for cats. All pets adopted during Empty the Shelters event are sterilized, vaccinated, and microchipped with a lifetime registration included.
