Metro Team Sports is a leading provider of top quality athletic uniforms, apparel and gear to the athletic departments of high schools, colleges, universities and leagues. Located conveniently in New Hyde Park, we are in need of a Customer Account Coordinator on a part time (9 AM - 3PM) or full time basis. We are looking for a problem solver to be on the front lines with customers acting as the voice of Metro Team Sports. This is a growth opportunity to learn all aspects of the business beginning with order entry, order processing and working up to being a skilled and valued team member. Our team is currently working remotely due to Covid-19, but when it is safe for our office to re-open, this position will transition to an in-person position at our New Hyde Park location. The safety of our candidates and employees is our top priority. If you are selected, you will be contacted for a preliminary phone interview, which could then be followed by a video conference as well as a formal on-site interview. Metro Team Sports follows all Covid-19 protocols for in-person interviews including social distancing, sanitizing, mask wearing, etc. Fully remote, extensive training will be provided if you are selected for the position. Requirements: BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIREDMust have a desktop or laptop that runs windows operating systemMust have reliable internet connectionsExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Quickbooks a plusHighly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple assignmentsDetail orientedVibrant team playerImpeccable phone etiquette and communication skills Job responsibilities would include: Efficiently enter and process sales orders using our industry specific softwareManaging customer relationships throughout the ordering processWork in partnership with dedicated sales representativesCoordinate with off-site production on a high volume of ordersPrioritize and manage multiple tasksContinuously think of ways to improve customer service and operations This position is available on a part time or full time basis.
