Female Boxer Needs Home

Lucy is a 6 year old (estimate) female boxer mix in need of a fur-ever home. She was a rescue dog from the Texas hurricane and went through some trauma. She is scared of confined spaces and heavy rain/storms. We obtained her temporarily for what was supposed to be a few weeks but have had her since. We are not aloud to have animals here in our rental. She is housebroken and will sit, stay, speak, shake, lay down, give high five etc… my daughter has been the one taking care of her. She is definitely a females dog and listens more to woman (me and my daughter). She does not like to be alone, so prefer someone who is home a lot. She is trained not to be on furniture. Lucy is fixed, chipped and flea/tick treated. She does not care for other dogs however could adapt (she stays occasionally at my moms when we are out of town who has 2 dogs and they all get along). Would prefer a family or woman owner who will stay in contact and let us know how she is doing. We just want to make sure that Lucy is safe and well taken care of. Her being with us was always meant to be temporary and I hate leaving her alone for hours on end. Not asking a rehoming fee, just asking that she goes to a great home.
