Portland Black Metal Band Seeks Drummer

Early in the pandemic my band lost our drummer, and now that things are looking less sketchy and people are getting vaccinated, we're looking for a replacement. We aren't an international touring band, but we have released a demo tape on a small local label and a full length LP on a well respected underground German label, and we have done out of state festivals. We are not trying to become career musicians, so we won't expect you to be available for shows every single weekend, or multiple rehearsals per week, but I would like to get back to 2-4 monthly rehearsals eventually. We've been around since about 2015 and I've been playing in death metal and black metal bands in Portland since 2011. We are, tentatively, a three-piece and our bassist lives out of town, so if you are in the surrounding area and don't mind driving, that's okay. I own a house with a large detached shop where we will be rehearsing, so there's no practice space rent involved. This has been our setup for several years. Eventually, if you are comfortable with it, you can leave your gear locked up here, or haul it back and forth for rehearsals and recording. We're currently working on our second full length, however the drums have already been recorded by a session member and friend of mine (not local). So that's kind of the landscape you'd be stepping into. That said, the songs on this record have gotten quite old due to the complications with our last drummer, so we are ready to start writing new material pretty soon. I'm going to avoid listing out a bunch of bands I like, but I will say we are largely influenced by second wave bands, lots of Finnish stuff, and some raw pagan-ish bands. If you've been involved in black metal and death metal around the area, we likely have some mutual friends, and I'm happy to talk about past bands or references, or whatever. I know Craigslist can be a graveyard for trying to find a band/band members. I will respond to email ASAP.
