Full-time Warehouse Support Associates. 8 am to 5 pm - Monday to Friday. $14 - $15 an hour, depending on experience. Apply in person at: Diligent Delivery Systems 2301 E St Elmo Rd Ste 3-306 Austin, Tx 78744 POSITION OVERVIEW: Seeking for immediate hire a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Support Associate to efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment. Including pallet jack, forklift, and by hand as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: · Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 pounds). · Maintain inventory via manual check and via bar code scanners. · Work with warehouse staff to facilitate unloading and loading of trucks. · Upload data into shipping system. · Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. · Perform other duties as assigned. · Prompt, daily attendance at assigned work location. REQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS · Prior dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a plus · Prior forklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environment preferred · Prior experience loading and unloading trailers preferred · Highly motivated individual with attention to detail · Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator · Basic written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work independently and/or as a team member · High school diploma or equivalent.
