MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Washington State Department of Ecology Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Group III certificate or equivalent with at least twenty-four (24) months of experience as an operator in a wastewater treatment plant at the time of application. Operating experience at the Yakima Wastewater Treatment Plant is preferred. Possess a Washington State Department of Ecology Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Group III certificate or equivalent at time of application. Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License. Possess or obtain a Basic First Aid Certificate within six (6)months of appointment. Incumbents are expected to possess a Washington State Department of Ecology Wastewater Treatment Plant Group IV certificate within thirty-six (36) months of appointment.
