Have you ever met someone because of a stranded turtle near a busy street with no quick route to escape? I had the pleasure yesterday but missed the opportunity to connect further than the 3 minute turtle rescue. Malcolm, I only got your first name, but hoping you see this and our paths can cross again. If you see this, at the very least know that on my return run I saw our turtle (which we properly named Malcolm) happily swimming in the creek. As we both survived a wild animal in the LA streets I think we deserve a drink in one of our neighborhood cafes/bars. You are a beautiful soul for stopping to help a turtle in need and I’d love to see you again sans turtle. Looking forward to meeting again. ::awkward turtle hand gesture::
