Kayakers/SUP earn $100 helping support triathlon event

We need paddlers on kayaks and SUPs to help support swimmers at an open water swim event on the San Francisco Bay on August 15, 2021. If you don't have your own kayak, one will be provided to you for the event. Swimmers will race from the eastern end of Alcatraz Island to St. Francis Beach next to Crissy Field. Paddlers will help guide the swimmers along the route and alert safety staff of swimmers who need assistance. All paddlers are welcome (kayak, SUP, etc-non-motorized) and each will be paid $100 for their participation. For those who don't have their own gear, but have experience in open water paddling, we will provide sit-on-top kayaks and safety equipment. This is a very well-supported swim, with motorized boats and emergency personnel on hand to help out.
