Estimator Arborist Reputable Tree Service located in Sacramento, CA is seeking an experienced tree estimator/arborist. Must be able to accurately quote both residential and commercial tree services. We are an extremely busy company and are looking for the best. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, estimating job costs and achieving appointment goals. This is accomplished through constant communication and daily in-person appointments with customers. Our Estimator Arborist will maintain constant communication with the owner and office staff to communicate daily visits, customer quotes and services scheduled. Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Complete 10 in-person appointments per 8-hour day Diagnose and provide on-site estimates and review scope of work with the customer Knowledge and ability to accurately price both commercial and residential work. Maintain communication with the Office Manager regarding estimates scheduled, completed and work that has been booked Attend home shows, community events and other opportunities as needed Maintain arborist certification through continuing education credits About the Company: · Family owned company – owner has worked in the Sacramento Area tree industry for 25+ years · This is a full-time, position for an experienced Arborist/Estimator · Our yard and office are in Elk Grove · We service the entire Sacramento area Candidate Qualifications: Tree Service Climbing Experience: 3+ years (Required) Tree Service Estimating: 2 years (Required) · Good working knowledge of principles of tree trimming, removals, stump grinding, etc. Advanced education in arboriculture ISA Certification mandatory Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent computer skills – and neat handwriting Valid driver’s License with a clean MVR (Required) If selected for position, candidate must pass background check and drug test About the Position: · Competitive salary depending on qualifications · Full time position · Retirement plan after 1 year with company match · Training reimbursement to help reach certification goals · Use of company car during the day to travel to client appointments To Apply: Please send resume, salary requirements and cover letter detailing why you'd be a great fit for this position.
