Unconditional love and admiration for his person. That’s Mickey. He wags his tail every time you look at him or say his name. He is equal parts sweetness, fun loving, affectionate and laid back, so it is likely that he just may become one of the most important “people” in your life. He has for me. I am his current foster, so I can offer great information on who he is. It is rare to have access to that information when you adopt a rescue dog. One of my favorite things about fostering him is waking up to his tail wag and look of gratitude and love in his eyes. Mickey is a young 7 years old and was rescued by Cortez Rescue in Baja Mexico. I volunteer for this awesome rescue, who saves abandoned, abused and neglected dogs, such as Mickey. Mickey was discovered living on a short chain 24/7 until Cortez Rescue was able to convince his owner to surrender him. Despite this rough life, Mickey is so loving and quick to bond after a few days of getting to know and trust you. He is unsure at first, but treats will make you fast friends with him! He LOVES to go for walks, hikes, loves the water and car rides, but he is also great at chilling with you or alone in the house. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and has had a full heath exam by a licensed Vet. Please call. Mickey is longing to be the only pet with a loving person or two who enjoys neighborhood walks or hikes.
