Also treats people with respect and patience. • FAMILY ORIENTED: At home and at work • STRIVING TO IMPROVE: Always looking to get better at their craft and learn new things Qualifications: · 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience · Possess a positive attitude · Ability to complete tasks by deadlines, work independently · Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, tenants, guests and the public professionally · Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities · Must be available for on-call rotation including nights/weekends/holidays · Must have own basic tools and power tools · Must be able to pass background check · Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle required (gas reimbursement) Requirements of our Maintenance Technician: • Experience in Plumbing Repair a Plus • Experience in light Electrical Repair a Plus • Experience and ability in Drywall repair a Plus • Experience in Carpentry a Plus • Experience in HVAC a Plus++ • Experience in Appliance Repair a Plus++ • Ability to lift minimum 50lbs without restriction • Ability to climb ladder without restriction • Ability to deliver excellent customer service • Ability to work 9:00am - 5:00pm Responsibilities of our Maintenance Technician: • Complete Maintenance requests assigned to you by Property Manager in a timely manner • Assist in maintaining a clean and appealing exterior and common area maintenance needs • Tend to seasonal outdoor maintenance (ie. Snow removal) • Prepare vacant apartments and houses for move-in at the direction of Property Manager • Assist in other areas of property maintenance as directed by Property Manager • Respond to periodic emergency calls on rotating basis • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage as well as their own vehicle (reimbursed for gas)
