Famous Movers is a Houston, TX base Moving Company that is currently now hiring HARD-WORKING potential Movers who are planning to stay BUSY and can deliver a positive experience to our customers with quality and on-time moving services. THAT BEING SAID, below I’ve listed our expectations and qualifications to succeed at Famous Movers! Experienced movers are preferred but this is a great opportunity for those with limited experience and education. We will train the right individuals. Drivers and Movers must HAVE: -The knowledge to protect customer’s furniture by padding and plastic shrink wrapping to avoid scratches and damages. -The knowledge to disassemble and reassemble furniture such as bed frames and dining tables. (Using Company tools) -The ability to load and unload customer’s belongings with care using moving equipment such as dollies and 4-wheelers. -The ability to disconnect and reconnect appliances hence such as a refrigerator, washer and dryer. -The ability to lift heavy furniture up and down flight of stairs. Drivers must HAVE: -Experience operating a box truck (26 feet) with a valid drivers license. No CDL needed -The ability to communicate professionally. -The knowledge to resolve any issues or conflicts that may occur. -The ability to train and coach. (Will pay extra during training) Qualities you MUST have to succeed: -Integrity -Upbeat personality -Hardworking -Honest -Dependable -Positive attitude -Self-confidence We have flexible schedules available for those needing a part-time and/or full-time positions. Must be available to work on weekends. Must show up to work on-time, every time. No calls/shows will result in immediate termination. Hourly pay is determined by your performance and availability. Ask about BONU$E$?! Bonuses are given daily if work quality is consistent. *Do not demand a starting wage. All requests will be denied. Having reliable transportation (not public transportation) is required.
