We are currently looking for a Service Technician to fill an open position on our team. The ideal candidate will travel in the field to provide onsite service to our customers. Our Service Technicians interact with our customers in person, by email, and over the phone. They can troubleshoot and recommend repairs as well as system upgrades as needed. This person will assist in technical installations of multimedia systems including, but not limited to, commercial audio systems, projectors, paging systems, cabling, streaming, lighting, and cameras systems etc. This position will learn on the job by working closely with our team and project manager. Our technicians, once trained, can work independently and may received training to advance as systems designers if they show interest. Currently this position works primarily in houses of worship and schools and will need to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of all of our customers. Qualifications • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check • High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory) • Driver's License (mandatory) • Professional Appearance • Ability to work occasional overnights in the field • Audio or Camera Cable Pulling Experience a plus, but not required • Computer Skills a plus but not required • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to lift 50lb repeatedly (mandatory) • Low Voltage experience (preferred) • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding • Working knowledge in math, reading comprehension and mechanical reasoning
