Full-Time Labeling and Quality Control for Finished Compounded Preparations We are a veterinary pharmacy that specializes in compounding medications for horses. We have an intense but fun loving environment. No previous pharmacy experience necessary. California Pharmacy Technician license required. Basic computer/technical skills a plus. Please apply in person with resume at: Precision Pharmacy 5301 Young Street Bakersfield CA 93311 Monday – Friday 8:15 am – 5:15 pm Candidate qualifications: • Up-beat positive attitude • Organization and planning skills • Task management and prioritizing skills • Flexibility • Reliability • Teamwork • Professional • Orderly Duties may include: Read and comply with Precision Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, as applicable to position Comply with Federal and State Pharmacy Laws Monitor inventory for expired pharmaceuticals and replenishment Operate a computer and learn The Compounder Software Operate compounding/pharmacy equipment and tools Perform simple mathematical equations (measurements, conversions, etc.) Maintain Confidentiality While under the direct supervision of pharmacist, assist in: Removing drugs from stock Count, pour, preparations Label preparations/APIs Package and repackage preparations and APIs Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Valid Pharmacy Technician License in good standing issued by California Board of Pharmacy • Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures • May be required to lift 50lbs • Cleaning facility/building • Climbing ladders • Lifting up to 50lbs • Long periods of standing Candidate must be highly motivated and eager to work in a fast and always changing environment.
