Description

Community Orchestra Opportunity in Lancaster, California Our CEO/CFO of the Lancaster Community Orchestra is retiring, in large part due to health issues. This presents an opportunity for someone to step in and take over the 501c3 organization. The orchestra is a fully registered non-profit organization in good standing. Prior to time off due to Covid-19, we had 25 adult musician members. We have brought almost 2 decades of music to the community and are part of the LPAC (Lancaster Performing Arts Center) annual lineup as well as other community annual events. The new CEO can be a business person, teacher, musician or community member! The CEO could be the music director/conductor or may hire an independent contractor to fill the music director/conductor role. The rehearsal facility we’ve been using is a building at the Lancaster Soccer Complex. It is not yet reserved since we are looking for a new CEO. The current CEO/CFO will be available to help in the transition. We’d love to keep our Sept 2 session start date. If we do not find a new CEO, the orchestra will be dissolved. Please spread the word near and far. We want to keep this community orchestra in play! Reply to this ad if interested.
