Philly Office Retail is seeking an experienced and reliable maintenance technician. Duties include: Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Perform routine preventive maintenance Oversee work performed by outside contractors, as necessary Perform light repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, including preventative maintenance (changing filters and cleaning) Change light bulbs, door locks, and ceiling tiles when necessary Paint, including scraping, spackling, sanding, filling cracks and holes, etc. Willingness to support occasional weekend work, as needed Participate in the emergency on call rotation Snow and ice removal Qualifications Possession of current driver’s license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred) 2 - 5 years’ experience in a commercial maintenance environment. Ability to work independently and be a team player Ability to bend, lift, twist, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to climb ladders throughout the work day Experience using basic hand tools
