Carpenter Apprentice DC Enclosures is currently hiring for a Carpenter Apprentice. You will assist and train with a Senior Carpenter to increase your installation skills and learn proven methods for quality installs. This is a position that will lead to placement within the company as an independent installer of Sunrooms and Enclosures. Duties/Responsibilities: Be engaged and ready to learn from highly experienced installers Assist with the installation of sunrooms and similar work on job sites Learn professional-grade installations (superior material selection, building codes/local ordinance, advanced techniques and more) Communicate with customers and accurately describe the processes (if needed) Perform basic tasks in the shop Requirements: 1-2+ years (professional) construction experience or equivalent Strong communication skills (written/verbal) Motivated and eager to learn Ability to lift 75lbs+ Valid drivers license (with no major violations) Represent the company with a professional appearance Able to climb ladders Have reliable transportation/be punctual and on-time Candidates must successfully pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.
