Description
Carpenter for General Contractor, Golden Triangle Construction, Inc. Prepare layout, construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures of concrete, light gauge steel, wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools and equipment. Hand tools and equipment include, but are not limited to hammer, saw, pencil chalk, marking gauge, plumb bob, carpenter’s level, ladders, and scaffold. Power tools include, but are not limited to circular saw, electric grinder, drill, rotary hammer, demo saw, cutoff saw, and table saw. Maintain tools in good, clean, safe working order. Equipment operated includes, but is not limited to skid steer, forklift, truck or other motor vehicle. Study blueprints, sketches or building plans for information and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated. Erect framework for structures, install roof sheathing and subflooring. Build stairs and layout and install partitions and cabinet work. Install horizontal and vertical metal or wooden studs for attachment of wallboard on interior walls. Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware. Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures and working vertically above ground.
