Dog need attentive active new home

Hi I have a german shepherd/corgi mix that my son abandoned with me. He is mor than I can handle. He is extremely loving. Doesn't like strangers at first,but with me he is a velcro dog and VERY protective,will be with new owner as well. He wants to lay on you all the time, you will knwo of anyone even comes close to your home! He is super smart..loves to play fetch. He actually throws you ball at you when he wantes to play. He is crated when is not home, he ahs gotten out of crate a couppe of times..just took it apart. He has been around other animals, he plays well with them.but gets a bit of an attitude If they are trying to cuddle up with me and climbs on me to block them. I am trying to get an appt to neuter him. Please help me find this dog a goodhome, he is a very smart dogx he is just a breed that is too much for me to handle..I recently had surgeries. Since I have heard horror stories about rehoming onclothing, I will be asking a 25 dollar rehoming fee.,Thanks,btw he snot purple anymore and it was dye made for dogs..totally safe...thanks
