This is a volunteer position. Change the world one relationship at a time as you mentor youth in need of a positive role model. The commitment is for a few hours/week for 1 year. The goal is to form a trusting friendship that helps your mentee reach his or her potential. You will be amazed at how much you get from this experience as you watch your mentee grow in confidence and personal achievement. This program serves all of South Hampton Roads: Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Norfolk Ø Be at least 20 years of age Ø Reside in the South Hampton Roads area Ø Agree to 2 hours a week for one year Follow all other policies and procedures.
