Mary's Little Lamb's In-Home Child Care has 1 full-time opening and 1 part-time opening beginning in August. Currently accepting ages 12 months to 4 years old. I currently have 4 enrolled for the Fall! Looking for another to join our group :) Lots and lots of TLC, Learning and Fun! I Am Open Monday - Thursday (closed on Fridays!) Hours: 7:15 until 5:00 (no exceptions beyond 5:00 please!) Many Excellent References!!!! I urge you to always call on references, please! Over 28 Years in Business as an In-Home Child Care Provider CPR and First Aid Trained Have raised 3 Children of my Own (32, 28 and 26) and have 2 Grandchildren (Age 2 and 5) Completely Non-Smoking Home! We are a dog-friendly home. Our Archie is AMAZING with the kiddos and is almost 3 years old) Affordable Rates!! Family Discount Available Nutritious, Hot Meals Provided for Children over 12 mos. - Breakfast, AM Snack, Lunch, PM Snack are all inclusive in your rate for table-food eaters. Formula/Mother's Milk/Baby Cereal/Baby food must be provided by the parents for children under 12 months. Lunch is served family-style at the kitchen table. I am very organized and keep the children very routined. NorthWest Akron Area (Off N. Hawkins Avenue right next to Firestone High School baseball field) The children will have fun each day and will enjoy many different activities. Some of the activities you can expect your child to participate in daily might include: * Sharing time (children may be asked to bring in a certain item starting with a letter or a new toy they want to share with the others) * Outdoor Playtime (weather permitting) * With Summer upon us, we are outside quite often and enjoy our 25 ft. above ground swimming pool....we also have a child-size wading pool for the kids to splash and play in when they don't want to go in the "big" pool * Circle Time (we ponder and talk about 1 question daily--ex: what is your fave color and why??) * Arts & Crafts (Coloring/Cutting/Pasting/Stickering/Stamping/Painting/much more) * Story Time (this happens quite often during our day) * Learning Time (ABC's, 123's, Writing, Calendar, Weather etc.) * Music/Singing/Fingerplay * Dancing Time/Daily Stretching (this is a FAVORITE) * Play-Doh (another favorite!) * Puppet Shows * Cookie Making (they are such big helpers!!)--We've also added Rice Krispie making to our baking! Sooo much fun for the little ones!! :) * TV/Movie Time (1 - 1.5 hours a day at most!) * Rest/Nap Time each day....children all nap until age 4 and just have rest time after age 4 * And of course, Free Play Time (Legos, dress-up, tea parties, cars, building blocks, trains, dolls, etc.) At this time of year, we might go for a nature walk through the fenced-in backyard or take a short walk. We play alot outside in the nice weather. In the summer months, you can find us in our 25 ft. above-ground swimming pool or possibly wading/playing/splashing/lounging in the kiddie pool.
