We are currently seeking experienced Solar Electric (PV) leadsmen installers... The Lead Installer is responsible for the installation of Residential Solar PV Systems according to system design plans and building codes & standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Pull inventory for each project Layout solar array(s) on roof, working with system design plans. Install solar stands & flashings and properly seal all roof penetrations. Assemble and install solar array racking. Install solar modules, inverter(s), wiring, junction box, disconnects, electrical components. Co-ordinate with all agencies to complete final inspection. Communicate job status to operations staff. Document project progress and materials used. Maintain worksite safety at all times. Communicate with property owner(s) status of project Site cleanup Complete project(s) in a timely manner. Perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: (3) Yrs residential PV installation experience (at least 2 year experience as a lead) Proficiency in installing all types of grid-tied inverters (single & micro) & various roof mount-racking systems. Understanding of the NEC codes that relate to PV installations. NABCEP certification is a plus Willing to work in extreme environments (hot sun, high places/roofs, and confined crawl spaces). Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, reaching, crawling, climbing, and other physical aspects/requirements) Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Be able to bend pipe Valid driver's license & insurable driving record. Professional in appearance, with excellent communication skills and deliver a high level of customer service. Great attention to detail. Great work ethics and attitude. All candidates must submit and be able to pass a background check, drug and alcohol screening.
