We currently have immediate needs for homeless shelter assistants! This position will help with the local homeless community! You will help with providing guidance on how the homeless may be able to obtain food, shelter and medical care. You will be working at one of our facilities, greeting clients, monitoring behavior, offering assistance to make their stay more comfortable. Regular room and spot checks to inspect for drug use, drug paraphernalia, sick clients, obstructions, safety hazards and room cleanliness. You will be required to have a flexible work schedule. Hours will be consistent & OT available, however may be required to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Will try to accommodate the work schedule but can't guarantee. Locations are in mid-town, uptown and Queens. Will also try to accommodate best by location.
