Rehoming 1 year old hound

We need to re-home our dark brown and white -spots and freckles- hound mix. He just turned a year old (7/4). He is around 50 lbs. He is very friendly and good with our other dogs, new dogs, cats, chickens, horses, etc. He is not smart around horses and has been almost ran over or kicked quite a few times. This is why we need to find him a new home. We live on a horse farm and he's not cut out for it. He knows several tricks and commands. He's house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He loves car rides, baths, and fetching a tennis ball! He has been shopping in stores and visiting friends. He is shy in new situations but warms up quickly. We are asking a small rehoming fee to make sure he's going to a good home and also a vet reference. He is neutered, and completely up to date on vet care. I can send pictures if interested.
