Designed for students in 4th-6th grade, we will explore concepts of electricity and currents in this awesome workshop!
Let's have fun with electricity in this fun workshop designed for 4th -6th graders. Students will complete two hands-on experiments under the safety of two instructors: Keeping Current and Delicious Battery!
In Keeping Current, students will build an electric circuit with wires, batteries, and a light bulb to demonstrate how an electrical circuit is just a pathway of wires through which electrons flow!
In Delicious Battery, students will create a battery using just a lemon or potato by converting chemical energy to electrical energy.
Within these exercises, students will learn the WHY and HOW of these reactions. Lets keep learning fun and exciting this summer!
