A make & take floral design workshop at the USU Botanical Center. Join USU Extension Davis County and local floral designer Jen Waite for a hands-on evening of fabulous floral design. This workshop will cover: how to select and forage materials the fundamentals of floral designthe art of arrangementscomposition, color, and designParticipants will get to create and take home their own floral arrangement. Light refreshments included! About Jen WaiteJen Waite is the owner of Gardenside Bloom, a local flower farm located in West Kaysville. Jen grows cut flowers and sells beautiful locally sourced arrangements. Check out her designs on Instagram @gardensideblooms. The 'Fine Print'Admission includes a vase, assorted flowers, and the use of materials needed to create a gorgeous medium-sized arrangement for participants to take home. The vase has a 4-inch opening. The colors and specific flowers will vary based on current, local availability.
