TPI Staffing is NOW HIRING for CNC Lathe Machine Operators and QC Inspectors in the Magnolia, TX area! These are TEMP TO HIRE, 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM -4:45 PM) openings. ** Must be flexible to work on weekends depending on the workload** Company Benefits Once Converted: - Medical, Dental. Pay $15-$20 ( Pay rate will be determined based on knowledge assessment given by the client) Operate CNC machines in a safe, efficient manner that produces a quality product that contributes to targeted profit level. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Manufacture API products and/or Customer specific. • I.D. Stamp every processed part. (If requested) • Efficiently meet daily Production requirements. • Inform Quality Inspector of any Machine set ups for a First and/or Last article Inspections. • Maintain all tooling in good working conditions. (Machine, Plug Gauges or other Quality tools) • Verify received pallets at the work station are identified. • Notify the Supervisor of any problem (Safety, Quality, Production or Maintenance). • Show up to work on time in a daily basis. • Maintain work station clean and organized •Wear safety equipment at all times during working hours. Quality Control Inspectors in Magnolia, TX Pay $14-$19.00 (Pay rate will be determined based on knowledge assessment given by the client) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the Inspection of API or Customer specific Quality Products. Able to set up/use calipers, OD/ID micrometers, Lead gages, Taper gages, Plug/Ring gages, MRP Gages, Bore Gages, Roll gages, depth gages, Optical Comparator. Able to read API and customer specific drawings. Wear safety equipment at all times during working hours. Be able to lift 50 lbs with both hands from floor to waist (20-110 parts per hour) Repetitive twisting motion when screwing and unscrewing part on plug gage; Bending down to stack parts on pallets; Standing on concrete floor over extended period of time; Be able to use inspection gages and instruments with both hands—must have full range of motion on thumbs, index fingers, and middle fingers on both hands; Passing the color contrast and Jaeger II vision tests.
