Hands Of Healing Residential Treatment Center, located in Baytown, TX is in search of a hard-working individual who will take on the role of our Handyman. The right candidate will be skilled and responsible, having the ability to identify repairing needs. Duties for this position include (but is not limited to): • Assist in performing common task such as general repair/maintenance to include but not limited to electrical, building, plumbing and grounds • Ensure all maintenance equipment and supplies are accounted for • Respond to all work orders in a timely manner • Request maintenance supplies and equipment as needed • Provide support and guidance on maintaining equipment • Report major maintenance repairs • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of youth and program • Ensure all area are clean, safe and hazard-free for all youth • Maintain professional and ethical standards a prescribed by employer • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times • Comply with all agency and program policies and procedures • Comply with all licensing Standards as well a funding source’s guidelines Qualifications for this position: • High school diploma or equivalent • 1 year minimum handyman experience • Ability to work with power equipment and hardware tools • Hard-working detailed-oriented • Great communication skills (written and verbal) • Flexible with work schedule (willing to work O.T. when needed)
