Looking forward to seeing everyone for an afternoon full of music, activities and resources with family, friends, and neighbors. The LAWNDALE PEACE PARTY was initiated by the Marshall Square Resource Network (MSRN), North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council (NLCCC) with support from 24th Ward Alderman Scott, 12th Ward Alderman Cardenas and the MSRN Peace Committee to promote PEACE in North/South Lawndale. We invite you to Bring Your Grill / Food and Celebrate in Unity with us at Douglass Park on July 31st from 11am – 2pm (by 2950 W 19th st) Looking forward to seeing everyone for an afternoon full of music, activities, resources with family, friends and neighbors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ La FIESTA POR LA PAZ DE LAWNDALE fue iniciada por Marshall Square Resource Network (MSRN), North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council (NLCCC) con el apoyo del Concejal Scott del Distrito 24 , el Concejal Cárdenas del Distrito 12 y el Comité de Paz de MSRN para promover la PAZ en el vecindario de Lawndale. Estan invitados a traer su parrilla / comida y celebrar en unidad con nosotros en el Douglass Park el 31 de julio de 11 a.m. a 2 p.m. ( 2950 W 19th st) Esperamos verlos en una tarde llena de música, actividades, recursos con familiares, amigos y vecinos.  We are an organization that seeks to promote culture by serving as a bridge between artists and the community in the city of Chicago. We achieve this through the organization of cultural events and workshops for children, adolescents and adults. We seek to bring different artistic expressions to the community and in this way contribute to a better social and cultural environment for new generations to come.
