Intro to Thai cooking ClassJoin Maricel for an Introduction to cooking Thai food.  This class is perfect for cooks of all skill levels from beginner to pro. This is a hands on class. Thai food is one of the most popular foods in the world. Some might only think of Thai food as spicy, but in truth it's use of fresh herbs and spices makes for fresh flavors that are well balanced. Like all of Asian cuisine, It's flavors are infused with it's history and geography. Maricel will teach you about Thai flavor and how to make Pad Thai, Chicken Coconut Curry, Thai Spring Rolls and a Sticky Rice with Mango for dessert. Bring your appetite as you will eat like the King of Siam.   Maricel loves to cook and shares her passion with her students. Maricel's Kitchen classes are perfect events for a girls night out, a get together with friends, or to enhance your skills and understanding of food.  Classes start promptly and we ask that all participants arrive about fifteen minutes early to check in and get settled. Due to limited space and the upfront costs of food, our classes and events are only refundable 7 days before event start date. If within 7 days of event start date you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. The event organizer has the right to cancel class within 3 days of event start date if a minimum of 3 attendees is not met. With over thirty years of professional food service experience I attribute my most important cooking lessons as the ones I received at a young age from my grandmother. She taught me the essence of food and what makes it so important in our lives. Growing up in the Philippines meant fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, trips to the market for meats and fish. The Philippines is the crossroads of asian cuisine and is infused with flavors from all over the world and she taught me how to embrace those flavors.
