Join us for the​ 11th Annual Miles for Max 5K to remember Max Marohl Join us for our 11th annual Miles for Max 5K in Wahpeton, ND Registration and packet pick up starts at 8am Race starts at 8:30am We hope to see you there! Miles for Max was created in July 2011. Our first race was September 27, 2011 and we are excited to continue this event. Why we run: On May 21, 2011 our son Max was born at 18 weeks gestation. He was two small to survive. We were devastated. The care and compassion we received during the most difficult time in our lives was amazing. We want to continue to support families who have endured the loss of a child, so they can have all the resources and support they need to love and remember their beautiful children. We are forever grateful for the care we received during the most difficult and the most joyous times in our lives. Miles for Max is a way for us to give back and honor the beautiful children we carry in our hearts. Thank you for participating in this journey with us. Hopeful Heart Project is a non profit organization dedicated to providing hope, healing, and support to parents who have endured the tremendous loss of a child.
