Have you ever wanted to try your hand at ceramics? Join us to play in the CLAY and make your very own ceramic planter pots. Learn step by step how to hand make your very own ceramic planters at our first in person (small group) workshop at the new studio space. We'll teach clay basics for slab building in this class - compressing clay, scoring, attaching pieces and smoothing. Then you'll move on to hand building your own one-of-a-kind planters. You'll be able to paint your planters same day and then pick them up later once we glaze and fire them in the kiln. What you'll get: 2 hrs of workshop instructionClay (enough for 2 handmade pieces)Use of clay tools Ceramic paints - for in studio useGlazing and firing of finished piecesAll materials (including aprons) for the workshop will be provided for you. *Finished glazed pieces will be ready for pick up 2 weeks after the workshop. All classes are 13 years of age unless they are day time classes or designated Kids Class. Anyone age 13-17 must attend with an adult over the age of 18. Must be 21+ to sip while painting. COVID-19 Policies: Tables, supplies and equipment will be cleaned and sanitized before workshops.Our staff is full vaccinated. We have opted to keep class sizes small and intimate as we ease into this new normal back together.Masks are required for anyone who is not fully vaccinated.Please use sanitizer or wash hands upon entry.
