It's Time to GATHER Ladies! Ladies, it's here! The 2021 AFOMF (A Few of My Friends) Yearly Gathering! August 6-7, 2021. This marks our third year. For those of you that are just hearing about AFOMF for the first time, allow me to give you a brief history of how we began. In 2016, I was thinking about wanting to do something special for those women in my life that had been mentors. The thought of a luncheon for them and I would title it “A Few of My Friends”, showing intimacy in the different relationships. Well, nothing happened. In 2017, the Lord spoke to me about having something for women. I wasn't sure if it was like a women's conference or a workshop, it wasn't clear. And of course I ran into some spiritual resistance so, it got put on the shelf. But in January 2018, the Lord really began to lay it on my heart about pulling together and having something for women. My response was Lord if this really is what you want me to do, He said, "I do." I said, then I will. Immediately He gave me the women to ask to speak, as well as their topics. Our first AFOMF Yearly Gathering was August 2018 with 70 in attendance. Yay God! We have been going ever since. We even started a AFOMF Quarterly Fellowship that same year. We are GROWING! Don't you want to be a part of this? Well, we would love to have you join us! You can be a part of the Gathering two ways, physically or virtually but you must register.
