Join us for an evening on wader safety! It's not a matter of if, but when. One miss-step on a slick rock, or while chasing that once-in-a-lifetime bull trout into deep water, life as an angler will inevitably result in a few falls here and there. Here is your chance to be prepared and learn what to do in the event that you fall in the river with your waders. This event will take place at Splash Montana in a controlled environment with lifeguards and trained Montana River Rescue instructors. Grab your waders (or rent some from a local fly shop) and $10 and build the confidence you need to keep you safe! This event is co-sponsored by Missoula Fly Gals and WestSlope Chapter of Trout Unlimited. All proceeds from the event go towards the WSCTU Youth Programs. Our events consist of small meet-ups and trips in the summer. In the winter, we'll meet up to tie flies, keep our knot skills dialed, and maybe even fish some solid water!
