Heck, Andy may even pull some vintaged beers out of the vault to taste & pair next to the first beer in this series. In addition to the vast knowledge you'll receive about lagering & this new release from Last Name, you'll receive a 2021 Pilsner Project glass & a free growler fill (bring your growler!) of our Japanese-Style Pils. The Pilsner Project was created to showcase our love for lagers here at Last Name. The Pils crisp, clean, balanced, & approachable to everyone who tries it. Although it is a relatively young style (in beer years, of course), there are a surprising number of styles & approaches out there. This Summer we will be celebrating out interpretation of four styles from around the globe, starting with the classic Japanese style! Last Name Brewing was born out of a passion for home brewing. Last Name Brewing was founded by Curt Dale in 2003 as Dale Bros. Brewery, a small brewery born out of a passion for home brewing and a talent for winning medals at the LA County Fair. Joined in 2007 by his brother Andy Dale and sister-in-law Karen McMillen, the brewery began expanding as it won awards and gained fans. In 2012, the brewery moved into its current facility and added a large taproom, beer garden, fermentation lab, and a variety of new and experimental beers to the lineup. In 2016, the brothers discovered they could not trademark the name Dale Bros Brewery, and so renamed it Last Name Brewing as a nod to its roots.
