Erin Phillips is the co-founder and president of the non-profit organization, Power2Parent. Her involvement in her children’s school in the Clark County School District led her to recognize a need for an organization that would help protect parental rights. She is a regular guest on AM radio, has represented Power2Parent on local news, was a guest on the political news commentary “What’s Your Point”, and has appeared a number of times on the “Ralston Live” show. She worked tirelessly during the 2015, 2017, and 2019 legislative session to champion bills that protect parental rights. In 2015, she was named as Nevada’s Young Mother of the Year by American Mothers Inc. (AMI). She traveled to Washington D.C. with moms from around the country to represent Nevada and be honored by AMI. In 2020, she led the effort to launch the Power2Parent Parent Union, aimed at standing up to teachers’ unions. She is married to Matt who is the Creative Arts Pastor at Life Baptist Church in Las Vegas. In 2014, they became foster parents. Over the next two years they added two little girls to their family, bringing their total number of kids to five.
The Nevada Republican Club has been bringing conservatives together in Las Vegas since 1981 to showcase Republican principles and American exceptionalism. The purpose of the Nevada Republican Club is to promote sound, honest and ethical government at all levels, to help elect Republican candidates and to suggest leadership and direction for the Republican Party of Clark County, NV.
