A public opportunity to work toward building capacity and community with farmers of color. This coordinated growing and seed saving project helps farmers to seed collaborative growing and knowledge exchange during the growing season. With financial and volunteer support, participating MFCC farms receive resources to support volunteer labor projects and have help connecting with community members who are interested in growing food and reconnecting with the land. The farm members who piloted this project started our seed saving library for use by MFCC members.
