Writers wanted for Writing Workshop Group

I’m looking to form a Writing Group based on the “workshop” format, where each week the group reads one or two members’ work (usually 5 to 15 pages) and then meets and offers in-depth feedback, ideas and support. I have participated and lead many different types of writing groups over the years, and I know there are some “Shut Up and Write!” style groups locally, but writing workshops are by far my favorite format. This is an ideal way for people to steadily work on and try to finish short stories, novels, children’s books, etc. - especially if you use deadlines as motivation! We could meet over Zoom, however my ideal vision would be to meet up once a week at a cafe in Nevada City or Grass Valley. I’m currently gathering other kindred writer spirits, so please contact me if you are interested and tell me a little about yourself!
