A Seattle-area calibration laboratory has immediate need for an experienced Mechanical Equipment Calibration Technician for a full-time position. Qualified applicants will be familiar with the calibration and certification of various types of torque and pressure measuring equipment. Significant experience in the use and care of torque wrenches and pressure gages may, at the laboratory’s discretion, be substituted for calibration experience. Familiarity using the appropriate calibration standard equipment is very desired. In-person interviews will include demonstration of applicants’ calibration knowledge. Salary is dependent on experience. Other Job Requirements: • Basic Windows computer usage • Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, Email Access, Web-based Research • Good organizational and communication skills • Ability to work independently • Ability to travel within Washington and Oregon • Valid Driver’s License • US Citizen Desired Skills: • Experience with GIDEP • Experience with METCAL • Experience in 1st and 2nd party audits
